My husband and I needed a Security Safe for some items we wanted to store in a safe place. We are seniors and since it only weighed 65.7 pounds, my husband and a friend could carry it easily. Another selling point was that it has a 2.66 cu.ft. interior storage. It also came with lock down bolts which we bolted it to the floor.

The only problem we had was sliding off the opening to the batteries inside the door. We could not get it to budge but I put on a pair of rubber gloves and it snapped right off. It can be locked with a key or with the combination lock, You choose your code for the combination lock. It also tells you if the batteries are getting low but should you forget to replace them, you can still open it with the key. We are extremely pleased with this item. It was double boxed so it arrived in perfect condition. Happy in California!

After extensive searching this is the best safe i found for the money. Irs big so it will fit a lot of items, i love the easy to use digital lock, it has a shelf, and its good and heavy so a thief would have a difficult time stealing it in case you decided not to bolt it down. You really cant go wrong for the price. I wanted a good size and this exceeded what i thought it would have for interior room. The door is heavy and has a sturdy lock and hinges.

I don't know if anyone else had this problem, but the safe we received was completely defective. I don't know if it is the actual safe, or if it was broken during shipping.

The master key and the pass code did not work at all. The safe did not open. We followed the instructions as soon as we received the safe, but the first step of the instructions did not work- Step 1- Insert over ride key and turn right. After jiggling it, the key took over an hour to open. It should not take over an hour to get a safe to open with a key.

Then we entered the factory preset pass code, and was able to lock and unlock the bolts while the door was open; BUT after one try, the factory preset code did not work, neither would the over ride key.

There the safe sat locked, and unable to be opened by either the keypad or the key the within the first few hours of having it.

We returned this item immediately.
