I purchased this because I have a few items that I want to protect against theft/fire. I didn't have a clot of funds to put towards a safe so I figured this unit was my best choice. It's a solid unit, decent weight, and construction. It comes with 2 keys, combination and a anchor kit so you can bolt it down. I don't know how this may adversely affect the fire rating since you are required to drill a hole through the floor in order for the anchor bolt to secure it. The one thing I really dislike is the fact that you need the combination AND the key to open it. IT'S NOT ONE OR THE OTHER. But as long as you keep both on hand I guess it's ok. I don't know much about safes, but this one got a good review especially for the price point.

Nice heavy safe that appears to be well built.
Being new to buying safes, I was surprised that it required both the key AND the combination to open the safe.
The door fits loose enough to "wrattle", not at all "air-tight".
Possibly no need to worry about moisture build-up, but I wonder about how heat-proof it really is.

I got this one for an office. The door when closed wiggles a little, not a super tight seal. It is light so it possible could be carried off if not locked down to the floor. I like the key and dial. All the reviews of the digital safe kept saying how the keypads would stop working because the battery for the keypad would die and there would be no way of know when the battery would stop working. This does not have that problem and we have no problems getting in/out. Have been using for a couple months now
